HDPE Male Adaptor

Each product in the series is manufactured from robust, high-quality materials to form a reliable structure capable of withstanding the pressures involved in the electrofusion process. Taking the DN110 HDPE male adaptor as an example, it features a substantial wall thickness of 13mm and a large fusion zone of 45mm. This provides an extensive contact area and strong fusion zone material during welding, enabling a deep fusion. This results in an effective seal and high axial thrust capacity, ensuring performance and longevity for the intended application. Furthermore, the socket depth for each diameter (e.g., 85mm for DN110) and the overall product height are carefully designed and calculated for precise installation on-site. Installing this series of products requires minimal time for alignment, saving time and effort, and ensuring peace of mind.

Electrofusion threaded adaptors are used to replace traditional interfaces where HDPE or metal pipes need to connect to valves or metering equipment. They utilize a dual-part connection system: one end is an electrofusion socket for the HDPE pipe, and the other end is a metal threaded connection for flanged valves or instruments with threaded fittings. This fitting cleverly integrates the electrofusion socket with the metal threaded component. Through an injection molding process, the originally separate metal part is permanently and tightly encapsulated within the plastic (PE) body, forming a single unit. This provides all the benefits of an electrofusion connection while also offering a reliable threaded port for connecting to another flange. It perfectly solves the connection challenge between two different types of fittings, materials, or wall thicknesses.

Both internal and external threaded inserts are primarily used in water supply, chemical, and irrigation pipelines. Internal threads are often used to connect valves at pipe ends, while external threads are also very common, frequently found on pump house connections. The key advantage is that tapping threads directly into the plastic pipe wall is costly and significantly weakens the pipe. Using an electrofusion adaptor allows the fitting to share the pressure load with the pipe, offers better corrosion resistance, superior leak prevention, and higher overall reliability.

We select appropriate packaging methods based on product size. Fittings sized DN20 to DN200 are packed in sturdy, reinforced cardboard boxes, effectively preventing moisture damage or physical harm during transit. For sizes DN200 and larger, we use cost-effective woven bag packaging, chosen based on shipping distance, to effectively prevent impact damage or moisture. All our packaging is tested to withstand common shipping hazards. For large bulk orders, we can arrange direct full truckload shipments, further reducing handling stages and the probability of damage.
