The welding time for an electrofusion elbow typically ranges from 10 to 30 seconds, depending on the pipe diameter and wall thickness. During welding, the temperature must be controlled within the range of 200-260°C to ensure weld quality. The cooling time is generally 2-3 times the welding time, or 20-90 seconds, to ensure the joint is fully cured and achieve optimal connection quality. The electrofusion elbows we offer, such as PPR bridge elbows, are made of polypropylene and are easy to install and lightweight, making them suitable for connecting hot and cold water pipes.
