Daily Cleaning: Preventing Media Residue
1. Cleaning Frequency
High-frequency use scenarios (e.g., chemical wastewater pipes): Clean once every three months;
Low-frequency use scenarios (e.g., municipal water supply pipes): Clean once every six months;
Microbial media (e.g., sewage treatment pipes): Clean once a month.
2. Cleaning Tools
Soft-bristled brush/sponge: Used to remove surface deposits (e.g., dirt, biofilm);
Low-pressure water jet (≤0.5 MPa): Rinse flange gaps and weld surfaces to remove residual media;
Neutral detergent (e.g., pH 7 detergent): Used to remove oil or organic residue.
3. Cleaning Procedures
Power off/Shutdown: Ensure the piping system is depressurized to prevent cleaning agents from seeping into the pipes.
Surface Cleaning: Use a soft-bristled brush to remove large particles of dirt from the flange surface.
Gap Flushing: Use a low-pressure water jet to flush the gap between the flange and the pipe.
Deep Cleaning: For flanges with oil or biofilm, soak them in a neutral detergent for 10 minutes and then wipe.
Drying: Wipe the flange surface dry with a clean cloth to prevent residual moisture that may cause corrosion.
