1. Butt Fusion
Because the fusion tee has its own heating device, it can be directly butted against the pipe. When butt fusing, you need to determine the pipe diameter and material and select the appropriate fusion tee for the connection. The procedure is as follows: First, keep the connection on the fusion tee and the pipe clean and smooth. Then, connect the heating wire on the fusion tee to the pipe, heat it, wait for a while, and let it cool naturally.
2. Rubber Ring Sealing
The rubber ring sealing method is another common method for fusion tee connection, mainly suitable for PP fusion tees. The procedure is as follows: First, install the rubber ring on the connection on the fusion tee. Then, insert the pipe into the fusion tee and gently push it in until it is sealed with the rubber ring. Heat both ends and let it cool.
