Electrofusion Tees and Reducing Tees are Made of Different Materials
Electrofusion Tees are made of polypropylene and primarily connect pipes through electric fusion welding. Electric fusion welding involves fusing two or more plastic parts together under heat. This connection method serves a dual purpose: it creates a high-strength, single-material joint while also providing excellent corrosion resistance.

Reducing Tees, on the other hand, are primarily made of metal materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy steel.

Different Application Scenarios
Electrofusion Tees are primarily used in industries such as environmental protection, chemical engineering, power generation, metallurgy, and petroleum, serving as flow dividers and diverters in wastewater treatment.

Reducing Tees, on the other hand, are suitable for applications where pipe diameters vary significantly, allowing them to connect pipes of different diameters for smooth transmission.

Different Applications
Electrofusion Tees are suitable for use in plastic piping systems, primarily connecting pipes of the same specification and connecting pipes to equipment. The joints offer excellent corrosion resistance and sealing properties. However, electric fusion tees are less suitable for high-temperature applications because the plastic material loses some of its mechanical properties.

Reducing tees, on the other hand, are suitable for piping systems with varying diameters, allowing for convenient expansion or contraction of pipes, thereby optimizing the piping system's structure and improving its performance.
